Continuing Education is a very important responsibility of any equine health care provider. We welcome any occasion to expand our knowledge base and skill level in equine hoof care, whether it be through seminars, conferences, symposiums, or plain ole' text books!
We've taken advantage of many diverse opportunities, including some unique educational experiences in which we have learned alongside some awesome veterinarians. We live by the mantra that there is

North American Veterinary Conference / Jan. 17th-21st, 2009
A huge five day event held in Orlando that veterinarians and technicians from all over the world attend.

Please note, while many of the lectures attended at NAVC provide practical applications and education for farriers, there is no substitute for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. We do not prescribe medications, nor diagnose non-hoof related problems. Any lecture not related to the equine hoof/leg is merely for our own general knowledge. There are few things greater to a horse person than a good veterinarian!
